Cancellations and Appointment No Shows
Most appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment. There are many other patients waiting for appointments. Failure to cancel or reschedule in time will result in a missed appointment charge of $50.00 and forfeiture of fees paid to book the appointment.
To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we ask that only patients with appointments attend our medical clinic in person.
During this time, many regular appointments with your family doctor will be conducted over the telephone. When in-person appointments are required, we ask that all patients wear a mask when attending the clinic, and that patients attend their appointments alone (or with one companion, when necessary).
If you are experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 (including fever, new cough, fatigue, or shortness of breath), you must call the clinic prior to your appointment.
Transferring Records to our Clinic
When transferring records to our clinic, always provide us with photocopies and not the original documents. We shred all records that are scanned into our electronic medical record database. Hence, the originals should remain in your or your former doctor’s possession.
