Meet Our Team

Dr. Danny Dhingra

Dr. Danny Dhingra was born and raised on Vancouver Island. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where he completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Dr. Dhingra obtained his medical training and medical degree in California in the United States. He then continued in the US and completed his residency in Florida. Dr. Dhingra eagerly returned to Canada to start practicing Medicine. He has been practicing and serving the Richmond Community for over 10 years, and is also a proud member of the Richmond Division of Family Practice. He truly enjoys developing meaningful doctor-patient relationships with each of his patients and truly cares for each one of them.

Dr. Dhingra has a special interest in sports related injuries and preventative medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys playing several sports himself including basketball and even helps coach his son’s soccer team. He loves spending time with his wife and 2 children and enjoys travelling. Dr. Dhingra is bilingual in both English and Punjabi.

Dr. Sharfaraz Khan

Dr. Sharfaraz Khan, Montreal-born but Burnaby-raised,  and attended UBC where he completed a bachelor of science degree majoring in microbiology and immunology and then entered UBC’s medicine program. He pursued his family medicine residency through UBC’s coastal family medicine program, focusing on under-served communities along the Sea-to-Sky highway and further north in Bella Bella and Bella Coola with a heavy emphasis on rural and emergency medicine. Dr. Khan  serves the two communities of Richmond and South Surrey/White Rock.

Dr. Khan is fluent in English and Bengali and is a firm believer of preventative medicine such as vaccinations and proper diet and exercise. Dr. Khan enjoys traveling to secluded destinations, professional photography, hiking, reading, sketching, and spending time with his red miniature poodle.

Dr Harjas Grewal

Dr. Harjas Grewal is initially from Prince George BC. He did his undergraduate degree at the University of Northern British Columbia and his medical degree at the University of British Columbia. He then did 1 year of training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation before switching to Family Medicine at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg.

He is interested in creating strong therapeutic relationships with his patients and working to manage a wide range of problems; although he does have more interest in sports medicine with experience working at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships and 2022 U17 World Hockey Challenge in Vancouver.

Outside of work, he loves playing and watching a wide range of sports, specifically hockey, soccer, tennis and golf, and spending time with his wife traveling the world.

He’s bilingual in English and Punjabi.
